- - | 1798 Writ Antique legal document Item # 2335 Click HERE to inquire about this item "Antique court summons" A second legal writ attaching the property of Abraham Bailey of Chatham, Connecticut, over a delinquent loan from 1796. This antique document is dated 23rd October 1798. It is in very good condition with a small chip on the right edge (hardly noticeable) and the usual folds found on all legal documents. The frame is gold and the matte is a light burgundy that blends with any decor. It is 11 inches by 13 inches framed. We currently have three eighteenth and early nineteenth century legal documents framed and matted as a set.
