1798 Writ Antique legal document

"Antique court summons" A second legal writ attaching the property of Abraham Bailey of Chatham, Connecticut, over a delinquent loan from 1796. This antique document is dated 23rd October 1798. It is in very good condition with a small chip on the right edge (hardly noticeable) and the usual folds found on all legal documents. The frame is gold and the matte is a light burgundy that blends with any decor. It is 11 inches by 13 inches framed. We currently have three eighteenth and early nineteenth century legal documents framed and matted as a set. 1820 Antique Document Summons for Law Suit

This antique document is a summons for the defendant to appear before the county court for action on a note dated the 13th of July 1819. Apparently Noel Ives ran afoul of the law when he could not pay the owed sum of 30! This piece of antique "legal memorabilia" is in outstanding condition with no chips or tears. It has the fold lines all legal documents have. The frame is gold and the matte is a light burgundy that blends with any decor. It is 11 inches by 13 inches framed. This photograph is in perfect condition and had recently been matted and frame. The quality of the framing is hard to see because of the glare, but we guarantee it.
